Modest Mouse Kickoff 2019 December Tour in Oregon with 19 Songs!

Modest Mouse may have just wrapped up their tour with The Black Keys late last month but they've already hit the road again, this time, for a short week-long trek focused with dates on the West Coast and Colorado.
The first date of their headlining trek kicked off on December 7 at the McDonald Theatre in Eugene, Oregon where the guys played a 19-song setlist which includes a 4-track encore. Noticeably missing from the setlist, their signature hit single "Float On" did not make the set for the evening, check out the full setlist from opening night below:
Modest Mouse - Eugene, Oregon - December 7, 2019 - setlist
The guys opened up the show with their song "Cowboy Dan" and closed the main set with "Tiny Cities Made of Ashes," in between they played a cover of "Here's to Now" by Ugly Casanova and songs like "King Rat" and "Trailer Trash."
They finished the show with a four-song encore that opened with "Gravity Rides Everything" and closed with "Night on the Sun" which you can watch a live clip of below!
Now, before anyone gets up in arms regarding "Float On" not making the opening night setlist according to our data, it's worth noting they did bring "Float On" back during their December 8 show in Reno, Nevada at the Grand Sierra Resort. And one can only help they'll continue to do so, right?
Don't just take my word for it, check out the setlist from their December 8 show below for reassurance!
