Bruce Springsteen Live Debuts Two "Letters To You" Songs

Last night, November 19 2020, a host of musicians and comedians gathered virtually to perform for a Stand Up for Heroes benefit. One of the most notable sets came from iconic rocker Bruce Springsteen, who played alongside his wife and bandmate, Patti Scialfa.

The duo performed three songs, the first being "Long Walk Home," off the 2007 album Magic.

The other two songs were live debuts off Springsteen's 20th studio album, Letter To You, released just last month.

Bruce Springsteen setlist

The first, "House of a Thousand Guitars" makes reference to our 45th president, but also expresses hope for the future, lamenting "So wake and shake off your troubles, my friend / We'll go where the music never ends." This will be an excellent one to hear once live music can return at full capacity.

"I'll See You In My Dreams" was the short set's closer, and is also the closing track on Letters To You .
