Blondie Played 15-Song Set On Clem Burke's Birthday in 2010

There would be no Blondie without their drummer Clem Burke, who's been there since the beginning after being recruited by Debbie Harry and Chris Stein in 1975. Did you also know that Burke briefly played drums for the Ramones in 1987 under the name Elvis Ramone?! Today, November 24th, is his 65th birthday and we're celebrating with a special Blondie setlist history from this day in 2010.

Exactly a decade ago, the OG punk rockers were part of the lineup for a festival in Perth, Australia called "A Day On the Green." Never heard of the festival? Their website describes it as:

"A glittering array of international and Australian stars have performed during the past 20 years providing unforgettable musical memories. A day on the green is far more than a concert event, it is an “experience” and that is what sets it apart from other winery concerts."

Sounds like a great place to spend a birthday. Blondie's set featured 15-songs, including a two-song encore. In November 2010 they were gearing up to release their ninth studio album, 2011's Panic of Girls. During this show, they played four songs off the record, including opening song "D-Day."

The set also featured several of their hits, some in medley-form like "The Tide Is High" / "I'll Take You There" and "Rapture" / "No Exit." Other fan favorites included "Maria," "Call Me," and main set ender "One Way or Another." For the encore they opened with a cover of Taio Cruz' "I'll Break Your Heart" followed by set finale "Heart of Glass."
