The Grateful Dead spin-off band performed a total of 39 songs between both the nights, and the selections included a perfect mix of staples and deep cuts. Fun fact: these shows marked number 44 for Grateful Dead + D&C collectively at the venue! Nassau honored this milestone with a special banner.

Let's take a look at what they brought to Nassau for both the nights!

November 5th

On Tuesday night, Dead & Co started off the first set with perfect slow burner "Jack Straw," a classic off Europe '72. That wasn't the last lick off that album we'd hear in the set - they whipped our "Brown-Eyed Women" which was sandwiched in between "Peggy-O" and Bob Weir's "Looks Like Rain." They closed out the first set with a back-to-back helpings of Workingman's Dead hits - "Easy Wind," "Cumberland Blues" and "Casey Jones."

The second set lifted off with "Here Comes Sunshine," and was gifted with many more Dead deep cuts like "William Tell Bridge," "The Eleven" and "The Other One." They also did a cover of "Going Down the Road Feelin' Bad" and then "Not Fade Away" later on to close out the set. They encored with "U.S. Blues."
