Pre-pandemic, pop singer Billie Eilish was primed for big things—after sweeping the 2020 Grammys, she was three dates into her Where Do We Go? World tour when the lockdown orders came through. She has since participated in a few livestreams, including NPR's Tiny Desk concert and a performance for the Democratic National Convention. But Saturday's Where Do We Go? pay-per-view livestream was on another level entirely. Let's take a look at some highlights.
- The star-studded pre-show: Lizzo, Alicia Keys, Steve Carrell and more all urged her fans to VOTE. 18-year-old Eilish commented that she had already voted last week.
- An exclusive preview of her upcoming documentary The World's a Little Blurry, coming out February 2021.
- The show itself had out of this world production. Streaming from Los Angeles, on 60 ft. x 24 ft. stage, surrounded by 100 ft. x 24 ft. 360 LED screens employing XR (extended reality) technology. Some of the scenes: Underwater oasis, space, a cartoon forest, a spider's lair (very on-brand for Billie).

- In addition to the recurring message to vote, Eilish also had some planet-saving pleas. According to NME, during the track ‘"All The Good Girls Go To Hell" she performed in front of footage of forest fires and melting ice-caps, and then displayed the words ‘No Music On A Dead Planet’.
- While there were no live debuts, she did spill the beans about working on album #2 with her brother, Finneas.

Eilish ended her 13-song set by saying,
“I hope that I can see you soon. I can’t even tell you how bad I wish I could be on tour. During quarantine I think I realized that the only place I’ve ever felt myself, like I belong, is in front of you guys and with you guys… That will happen one day. If we vote the orange man out, maybe we’ll get to see each other again. I’m literally not even joking at all.”
