Aftershock Music Festival 2019 returned to Sacramento's Discovery Park this past weekend, October 11-13th, for three days of pure hard rock and metal bliss. Closing out the festival was headliners Tool, who returned to the stage for the first time since their European 2019 Summer tour, which ended at the beginning of July.
Their festival set comes ahead of their official North American 2019 tour which is in support of their latest album Fear Inoculum that dropped back in August and was their first album in 13 years.
They made waves for their first set of 2019 by firing off with the live debut of the title album track, "Fear Inoculum."
The rest of the 10-song setlist was featured tracks like "Aenema," "Invincuble," "Part of Me," "Parabola," "Stinkfist," and last but not least another live debut - "Pneuma." It was 10 songs total but the set lasted an entire hour and a half.
