Peter Frampton Wraps 2019 Farewell Tour! See Photos + Highlights

It was a bittersweet moment in at the Concord last night (October 14) as classic rocker Peter Frampton wrapped up his Finale: The Farewell Tour. The former Humble Pie and Herd guitarist has been touring North America on what he is calling his last big tour after revealing that he was struggling with inclusion-body myositis earlier this year. Fans have been showing their support for the rock legend during his tour, with the 12,500 capacity venue packed to the brim last night for his final show.
Frampton promised an unmissable show to his devoted fans and delivered, performing a 16-song setlist filled with his most famous hits such as "Do You Feel Like We Do" as well as covers of quintessential 60's legends like Freddie King's "Me and My Guitar." The rocker kicked off the night with songs off of his most famous album Frampton Comes Alive before diving into some covers. Frampton kept the audience hooked as he interluded stories about his time in Humble Pie and the shenanigans of a 60's rock supergroup amongst the energy-packed renditions of hits such as "Baby (Something's Happening)". Frampton has been busy trying to use his talents to his utmost ability since diagnosed, working on multiple albums, including a live blues album with tourmate Steve Miller. He showcased his multi-genre talents with an instrumental rendition of Hoagy Carmichael’s “Georgia (On My Mind)” before giving tribute to the late Chris Cornell with a cover of Soundgarden's "Black Hole Sun." Frampton closed his show off with a 4-song encore, leaving audiences in tears as the legendary guitarist signed off on what may be considered his last tour with his iconic performance of the Beatles' "While My Guitar Gently Weeps."
