GWAR are currently on the road for their "Gore, Core, Metal And More" co-headlining tour with Hatebreed. Their fall dates, which features support from Miss May I, Ringworm and American Sharks, kicked-off October 7th at Town Ballroom in Buffalo, New York. The 18-city run is set to wrap up October 28th at Monarch Music Hall in Peoria, IL. Directly following the tour, on October 29th, GWAR will start their headlining run, through November 10. We caught up with the heavy metal shredders last night at their Los Angeles date at the Belasco Theater. The band met a few fans prior to stepping hooves on stage. Check out our exclusive behind the scenes photos just before they performed:
GWAR opened their Belasco set with "War on Gwar" from their latest release and fourteenth studio album, The Blood of Gods. The band performed additional tracks from the new release like "Viking Death Machine," "Ed Presidente," "Swarm," "The Sordid Soliloquy of Sawborg Destructo," "Death to Dickie Duncan," "Crushed by the Cross," "F*ck this Place," "Phantom Limb," and "If You Want Blood (You Got It.)" The set wrapped up with "Sick of You" from the band's second studio album, Scumdogs of the Universe. Check out live photos from the set below:
