Setlist History: Parkway Drive Kick Off IRE Tour This Day in 2015

On this day in 2015, Australian metalcore band Parkway Drive unleashed four live debuts at their tour kickoff in Perth. The start of their IRE Aus/NZ tour came just two days before the release of their fifth studio album of the same name.

They kicked off the gig at Red Hill Auditorium with the live debuts of “Destroyer” and “Dying to Believe” which are also the first two tracks on the record. They followed those new songs with their #1 most-played song, “Carrion".

IRE's third track, "Vice Grip" got its second-ever performance, the first being at their show in France in June of that same year.

The set contained other PW staples like “Karma,” “Idols and Anchors” before a guest appearance from CJ McMahon from Thy Art is Murder on “Deliver Me.”  Earlier that night, PW vocalist Winston McCall had lent his skills to the opening band for their performance of "Coffin Dragger."

“Bottom Feeder” was the next live debut, a real rager that they ended up releasing a live music video for in 2016. Check that out:

The last live debut of the evening was another mosh-inducing anthem, “Crushed” played during the encore. All in all they performed five songs from Ire before wrapping up the set with “Home is for the Heartless.”
