Joe Bonamassa Live Debuts "Royal Tea" Songs at Livestream Concert

Joe Bonamassa is gearing up to release his 15th solo record - Royal Tea, due out October 23rd. Bonamassa treated fans to his first livestream concert since the start of the pandemic. The Pay-Per-View event was a charity gig that took place last night (September 20th) at Ryman Auditorium in Nashville, where Bonamassa played to a room full of cut-out cardboard boxes.

You read that right. Every box cut out represented people who bought a VIP package. All the tickets sold included a donation to the Keeping The Blues Alive Foundation, as part of Bonamassa's Fueling Musicians Program which benefits musicians in need during this pandemic.

The performance started with Bonamassa performing 9 live debuts of songs off his forthcoming record Royal Tea. It opened up with "When One Door Opens" and the main set closed out with "Lonely Boy." He then went on to perform a 4-song encore that featured 3 covers, including "Cradle Rock" by Rory Gallagher and set ender "A New Day Yesterday" by Jethro Tull.

The only other album he performed off of was Redemption. See the full setlist below:
