Space-rock supergroup Angels & Airwaves are back on the road, and bringing some new tunes!
The Tom DeLonge-fronted band, backed by members David Kennedy (guitars, keys), Ilan Rubin (drums, percussion) and Matt Rubano (bass), originally formed after DeLonge's band, Blink-182, went on hiatus in 2005.
They've since released five studio albums and four EPs, and are known for their atmospheric vibes. Some fan-favorites include "The Adventure," "Everything's Magic," "The War," "It Hurts" and "Secret Crowds."
Their fall tour kicked off August 28 in Solana Beach, California and is scheduled to snake its way around North America– stopping in cities like Philadelphia, Detroit, St. Louis and Portland before coming to a close October 9 in Los Angeles.
They've been sticking to a pretty standard set each night, highlighting new songs and deep cuts alike.

August 28 – Solara Beach, CA
The tour's opening night at Belly Up Tavern was one for the books. In their return to the stage for the first time in seven years, Tom DeLonge and Co. live debuted six new songs: "Overload," "Paralyzed," "The Wolfpack," "Kiss With a Spell," "Rebel Girl," "Anomaly" and "Kiss & Tell."
The rest of their 20-song set consisted of songs like "It Hurts," "Anxiety," "Surrender," "The Adventure" as well as acoustic renditions of classic Blink-182 songs "I Miss You" and "Aliens Exist," and a cover of Box Car Racer's "There Is." You can read our full recap of that performance here.

September 7 – Dallas, TX
A&A took on the House of Blues in Dallas performing their 19-song standard setlist, which consists of songs from their entire discography, including The Dream Walker, I-Empire, LOVE: Part Two andWe Don't Need to Whisper among others.

September 9 – Atlanta, GA
The band took the stage at The Masquerade in Atlanta and brought their standard setlist.

Angels & Airwaves supposedly have a new album in the works, which will be their first collection of new songs since 2016's Chasing Shadows EP. DeLonge says the new songs will be released with an accompanying film.
"I co-wrote a movie and it goes into production in just a few weeks," he said back in August.
"Then when I come out of that and go into post, we’ll score it. That will kind of dictate the second half of the album. Both of those will come out together somewhere around the tour or shortly thereafter. It’s going to be hard to say because this is a big project."
