Live Photos: Fall Out Boy at Chicago's Wrigley Field

The pop-punk band returned to the Windy City for a homecoming like no other. Fellow Chicago-grown band, Rise Against, opened with rapper Machine Gun Kelly in what turned into a historic night.
The two hour, 23-song set–plus a two-song encore– started off with a video montage of the band's rise to fame with audio of the late Cubs announcer, Harry Caray, singing "Take Me Out to the Ball Game." Immediately, fans were struck with a little Chi-Town nostalgia.
FOB played a majority of songs from their new album Mania, as well as American Beauty/American Psycho, Infinity on High and others.
The band opened with "Disloyal Order of Water Buffaloes" followed by "The Phoenix," "Irresistible" and the ever-so-catchy "Sugar, We're Goin Down."

The band has a soft spot for its hometown and affiliated acts.
During the set, bassist Pete Wentz exclaimed,
“It is really wild to think that us and Rise Against were playing in basements 17 years ago in the suburbs. We’ve waited to play with the guys in Rise Against for years and years and years. It’s pretty special that we were able to do it here at Wrigley Field.”
FOB also played fan favorite "Chicago Is So Two Years Ago" live– a luxury only Chicago show attendees get to experience.
Fall Out Boy continues its North American Tour through October to promote their new album, bringing along Machine Gun Kelly, Gym Class Heroes, State Champs, L.I.F.T and Nothing, Nowhere as opening acts.
