Stone Temple Pilots Perform "Core" in Full for Livestream Event

Over the weekend on July 31st, Stone Temple Pilots treated fans to a very special livestream event where they performed their iconic 1992 debut album Core in its entirety.

"Look, we're all itchin' to just get out and play. You know we had over a hundred shows pulled out from under us this year. Everything. Not rescheduled — canceled — and there's nothing on the books for 2021, so it's just, like, 'Let's do something! Let's play!'" - Dean DeLeo

The show took place at Mates Studio in Los Angeles and was live streamed via Nugs.Tv for everyone who bought a ticket. The album was performed in the same order as the tracklisting, opening up with "Dead & Bloated." Watch them perform the song here:

The best parts of the set came when STP performed "No Memory" for the first time since 2011, and the deepest cut "Naked Sunday," which hadn't been performed since 1993 - Both when Scott Weiland was alive / in the band. Set closer "Where the River Goes" was also a setlist gem, as the song has only been performed twice since 2013.
