Bring Back Beatles Classics: Ringo Starr's 30th Anniversary Tour

It’s been thirty years since Ringo Starr & His All Starr Band hit the road for the first time. And while the band members have changed throughout the years, Ringo’s company has always fulfilled that “all starr” status. Fortunately, it’s no different on their current tour celebrating that very 30th anniversary.

Following his brief appearance at Paul McCartney’s Dodger Stadium concert back in July, Ringo Starr & His All Starr Band kicked off their North American 30th Anniversary tour at the start of August and have been hitting venues across North America ever since. And with only a couple weeks left on this leg of their tour, fans are itching to catch the famous Beatle while they still have a chance.

Playing a wide variety of hits from his ever-expanding catalogue of music, the Rock and Roll Hall of Famer and his band have yet to fail at pleasing their die hard fans around the nation. With over forty studio albums in his repertoire, including twenty-two Beatles classics, it’s hard to fathom how the world’s most famous drummer composes a setlist every tour, never mind every night. Luckily, Ringo Starr & His All Starr band aren’t necessarily known for radically changing their setlist from night-to-night.

But what does that mean for us fans who are craving our own setlist requests every night? Well, we can only hope that Sir Ringo decides to add a song or two to the existing setlist for this tour. Whether or not that happens, fans are still very much entitled to their own wishes when it comes to the 30th anniversary setlist, especially considering that the current twenty-four song setlist has only five Beatles hits.
