At Home With: Simon Dumas of King Calaway

Country Pop sextet King Calaway were looking forward to a 2020 tour opening for Rascal Flatts before the COVID-19 pandemic put all plans, big and small, on pause. We’ve been busying ourselves with livestreams, educating and creating, and some musicians are even kind enough to invite us into their homes for a more intimate look at their lives. The six members that make up King Calaway are currently quarantined in three different countries, and today it's Simon Dumas who’s taking us all the way to his home base in Gibraltar. Watch as he demos some sporty cricket moves from his home studio.
At Home With: King Calaway
On life at home:
"I've been spending this time at home just hanging out in my little home studio. I'm actually in my home town of Gibraltar. It's been fun! In the evenings, when America wakes up, I'm on a different timezone obviously. That's when I get on the Zoom and write with some friends in Nashville, enjoying the down period as well."
On the game of cricket:
"I used to play cricket. I thought it could be cool today to dive under my bed and pull out all my old cricket gear, try it on and just talk to you a little bit about the sport.”
