Live Photos + Concert Review: G-Eazy at O2 Academy Brixton in London

G-Eazy had the entire night to entrance his audience at the O2 Academy Brixton in London on Friday (June 1). Currently on his 'Beautiful & Damned' tour, the night saw no support act, since Yung Pinch didn’t turn up.
As G-Eazy walked on stage, fans were eager and ready with their phones lit up. He went right into "The Beautiful & Damned," a literally explosive opening as pyros exploded during the track. Flames lit up the stage well into the second track, "Pray For Me," while a constant stream of fog was covering the stage floor. This also helped cover up and fill in for the lack of props and people on such a large stage that is Brixton Academy.

The pyrotechnics aided in the electric atmosphere for the rest of the night, along with the constant screaming from passionate fans.
By the third song, "Legend," G-Eazy was holding the mic out to the crowd, making them feel as inclusive as possible in the big theater setting. The modest rapper also took brief moments to stand in awe of the crowd and absorb the atmosphere.
The set also included some of his most performed songs from the tour like "No Limit" and "Sober." Toward the end of the set he performed hit track "Say Less," by Dillon Francis, which the rapper is featured on. During the encore, G-Eazy performed "Me, Myself & I" a track from 2015 which made its live debut only recently in February.
The crowd remained energetic and passionate for the duration of the 24-song set, including a three-song encore. As for the rapper himself, he carried a lot of energy and hardly showed signs of tiring.
G-Eazy will continue the UK leg of his tour tomorrow night in Dublin, Ireland and will wrap up back in London on the 9th. The Oakland rapper kicks off his 'Endless Summer' Tour July 20th in Seattle, Washington.
