Lynyrd Skynyrd recently kicked off the 2020 leg of their “Last of the Street Survivors Farewell Tour.” They had a performance last night (March 8) in Plant City, Florida at Wish Farms Soundstage as part of the Florida Strawberry Festival 2020. The tour wraps in September at Red Rocks Amphitheatre in Morrison, Colorado. This means you still have plenty of time to get your tickets and catch the rock band perform live!
Lynyrd Skynyrd played hits off of a variety of their albums including (Pronounced 'Lĕh-'nérd 'Skin-'nérd,) Second Helping, Street Survivors, God & Guns and Nuthin’ Fancy.
The 15-song setlist opened with Lynyrd Skynyrd performing “Workin’ for MCA” and weaving in some of their most well-known songs such as “Sweet Home Alabama,” “Simple Man” and “Tuesday’s Gone.”
The band threw a few special surprises into last night’s set. They played Bob Seger’s “Old Time Rock & Roll” from tape at the start of their show. Also, they performed their song “Don’t Ask Me No Questions,” which wasn’t originally on the setlist, but they played it anyway. Lynyrd Skynyrd performed J.J. Cale’s “Call Me the Breeze” as well.
The band closed their show with their song “Free Bird.”
