Canadian indie-rock band Metric have been relentlessly touring for the last two months in support of their seventh studio album, Art of Doubt, which debuted back in September 2018. Fast forward six months and Metric's last tour stop brought them to one of the band's personal favorite venues, The Fillmore in Detroit, Michigan to an eager crowd awaiting their final show.
Emily Haines & Co. kicked off the final evening of tour with Fantasies track "Twilight Galaxy" before transitioning into their 2012 album title track "Synthetica." Lead singer Haines led the quartet band across five of their seven albums that touched upon a slew of hits, fan-favorite tracks, and tracks from Art of Doubt. Among the 14 tracks that made the official setlist were hits like "Gold Guns Girls" and "Gimme Sympathy," along with more popular Art of Doubt deep cuts like "Underline the Black," "No Lights on the Horizon," and "Risk"

Throughout the show, Metric seamlessly paired their newer Art of Doubt tracks with more popular songs from their previous albums. During the beginning of their set, the band predominantly focuses on performing new tracks, but immediately retreats to 2009's Fantasies hits including an extended version of "Sick Muse."
No matter whether you are a newer Metric fan or have been around for a while, the band effortlessly showcased their tracks to get everyone on their feet for the entire show.
