Between the Buried and Me Begin 20th Anniversary Tour w/ 16 Songs

Metal band Between the Buried and Me are celebrating two decades together on their 20th-anniversary tour, where they’ll be venturing across Australia, Latin America and 30 cities in the United States. During their North American trek, the band will be including a special 60-minute performance of their 2009 landmark record, The Great Misdirect, in full!

BTBAM announced that they’ll be performing two sets each night —and they fulfilled their promise at last night’s (February 27) tour kickoff show at The Factory Theatre in Sydney, Australia. The band played a setlist that spanned their entire career, beginning with show opener “Astral Body” from their sixth studio album, The Parallax II: Future Sequence, released in 2012.

They included a collection of fan favorites in their 16-song setlist. The first set included staple hits like “Alaska,” “More of Myself to Kill,” “The Coma Machine” and “Reaction,” among others. The band closed off the set with a lively performance of “Obfuscation,” a fan favorite from The Great Misdirect that has been played live 271 times.

During the second set, Between the Buried and Me dished out tracks like “Condemned to the Gallows,” “The Proverbial Bellow” and “Glide” before ending with “Voice of Trespass.” After the two main sets were over, they graced fans with three encore performances of “Selkies: The Endless Obsession,” “Viridian” and “White Walls.”
