We're not even a month into the new year, and metal legends Slipknot already have close to forty shows booked through August. That’s right, after a comeback following an unprecedented two year hiatus in 2019, the metal legends have dipped their toes back in the live realm to open a new decade.
Considering the ongoing tour was produced in succession of Slipknot’s first album in five years, it’s no surprise that the run shares the same name.
Regarded as the We Are Not Your Kind tour, the current show exemplifies the band’s undeniable live capabilities. Sporting their typical masked personas, Slipknot have reminded fans exactly why they never wavered in support as they begin their tour in Europe.
As expected, regardless of the scale of the run (it’s huge) and testified experience of the band, composing a tour is a complicated feat. And with as much success and frankly content that Slipknot has retained, we can only imagine how arduous the thought process must have been during preparation.
With that in mind, the setlist is one of, if not the most important aspect in tour construction. While the guys are known for their visual production antics, the root of their continuous progress lies in their music.

While most sets cover a fair portion of their six full-studio albums, with a particular emphasis onWe Are Not Your Kind, there will always remain a few favorites that have yet to make the cut on this everlasting tour.
As a way to commemorate those lost tracks, we have made our own list of seemingly missing hits that we hope Slipknot will bring back on their 2020 tour. Check it out!
