Billy Joel Shares The Stage With Foreigner Legends

Legendary singer/songwriter Billy Joel is currently in the midst of a record-setting residency of sold out shows at Madison Square Garden in New York City. Rock icons from the band Foreigner, Mick Jones and Lou Gramm, joined Billy Joel on stage last night to perform two of their band's many hit singles, "Urgent" and "Cold As Ice." The classic rock and roll reunion marked the 48th show of Joel's monthly and wildly successful residency.

Billy Joel kicked-off his whopping 28-song setlist with "Miami 2017 (Seen the Lights Go Out on Broadway)." After that, the singer let the New York audience decide which 5 tracks he should perform. Half way through the evening, Billy Joel brought Mick Jones and Lou Gramm on stage after pointing out that Mick produced his 1989 studio album Storm Front and revealing Jones's role in all of Foreigner's music. The "Uptown Girl" singer also has a connection to band, by being the one to induct the Foreigner bandmates into the Songwriters Hall of Fame five years ago.
